Our first Sunday morning worship service was an open-air meeting in July 2003 at a Twin Lakes home, with 21 people attending. We used the community room at Melody Camp that summer, and then moved to the gymnasium at Lakewood Elementary School in September, where we met for the next 2 years.
In February 2005 we were excited to discover that the building at 112 W. Main Street, in downtown Twin Lakes was available. By God’s grace and provision we remodelled and moved into our current facility in August 2005.
2008 held great changes for us. God provided in ways which allowed us to completed an 1800 sq. ft. addition to expand our ministry programs.

Our Future Plans
It is our desire to positively impact Twin Lakes and the surrounding communities spiritually, by sharing how we can have a new life with God, and materially, by contributing to the physical welfare of the people who live here.
God commands believers to love our neighbors. We are constantly looking for ways to fulfill this command by reaching out to the people who are suffering during these difficult times.
We already partner with other organizations who serve our community,
and we encourage our members to become more active as well.
Our focus on corporate prayer will empower us to do the outreach
the Lord has for us to do, in unity of spirit and with great joy!
Our Objective
The objective of our ministry is:
To love God with all our heart,
soul, and mind,
To love our neighbor as
ourselves, and
To love one another as Jesus loved us
We can achieve this by:
- building each other up – 1 Corinthians 8:1
- laying down our life for our friends – John 15:13
- covering a multitude of sins – 1 Peter 4:8
- speaking the truth in a way
that produces growth
and doing our share to help the church grow – Ephesians 4:15
- giving materially – 2 Corinthians 8:24, 1 John 3:17
- serving one another – Galatians 5:13
- bearing with one
another – Ephesians 4:2
- stirring up one another – Hebrews 10:24
- greeting one another – 1 Peter 5:14
- esteeming our leaders very highly – 1 Thessalonians 5:12
- men loving their wives – Colossians 3:19, Ephesians 5:25-30
